First to start Revolving Fund in the Department of Entomology and to bring the Ad-hoc projects.

Similarly Revolving Fund have been started at several research stations for sustaining the research and seed production activities.

During the tenure of Director of Research, infrastructure facilities have been developed in several departments for research purposes as well as Strengthened the unit of Bio-technology, Bio-pesticides, Bio-fertilizers and Computer Centre of the university.

During the tenure of Director of Research, maximum recommendations of Dr. PDKV (30 to 40 % of the total recommendations of all four Agril. Universities) total 270 research recommendations have been accepted in the Joint Agresco every year which is the highest in tenure of any Director of Research.

28 new genotypes comprising hybrids and improved varieties of crops like cotton, sorghum, rice, wheat, maize, soybean, gram, black gram, groundnut, sunflower, mustard, safflower as well as fruit crops like mandarin, acid lime and sweet oranges and vegetables like onion and ladies finger have been developed and released by the university during the tenure.

Initiated the collaborative research programme with public organization like BARC, ICRISAT, MSSC as well as with public Sector like Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., Jalgaon and seed and pesticides Industries.

Maximum land have been brought under cultivation during the tenure and created facilities for water resources at various research stations, curtailed the expenditure and increased the revenue receipts of the university as well as seed production programme has been increased to four fold during the last 5 years.

Organised several Group Meetings, Seminars, Symposia and Workshops in the university.

Member on the Institute Management Committee of the two ICAR institutions like NBSS&LUP and National Research Centre for Citrus, Nagpur.
